Yakitsuke updates itself: it downloads a new version in the background and installs it the next time you quit.
0.3.0-beta.10
The Skill you export for Claude (Settings → AI agents) now describes the settings of every camera Yakitsuke works with, not only the X-T4. Skills you uploaded earlier don’t update themselves: export it again and replace the old one.
0.3.0-beta.9
Runs on macOS 13 Ventura and later. Before, it needed the newest macOS. The camera connection has so far been tested only on the newest macOS, so please report problems on older versions.
0.3.0-beta.8
German and Korean. The app picks your Mac’s language on a new install, and you can change it in Settings.
Text recipes written in German or Korean can be pasted too.
0.3.0-beta.7
Simplified Chinese and Japanese, using the terms in FUJIFILM’s own manuals for each language.
Text recipes written in Simplified Chinese or Japanese can be pasted too.
0.3.0-beta.6
Experimental support for the X-Pro3, X100V, X-S10, X-E4 and X-T30 II, the X-T4’s generation. They develop photos, but haven’t been tested on those bodies yet, and their custom slots are read-only.
0.3.0-beta.5
Updates and bug reports now go to yakitsuke.com.
Restoring a camera backup asks first, and backs up the current settings before it writes.
Library folders can be rescanned and removed, and they are rescanned when you open them and when the app starts.
If your camera’s firmware is a version we haven’t tested, the status bar says so. Nothing is blocked.
Actions that used to fail silently now show what went wrong.
The bug report dialog lists everything a report contains, and remembers your email only once you send or save the report.
0.3.0-beta.4
Recipes are no longer tied to the camera they were made on.
The app follows the camera you connect instead of assuming an X-T4.
Experimental support for the X100VI.
0.3.0-beta.3
Push/pull processing (−2 to +3 EV), D Range Priority and long-exposure noise reduction are now checked against the X-T4.
When D Range Priority is Weak or Strong, the camera ignores Highlight, Shadow and Dynamic Range, so the editor turns those off. The sample looks now leave D Range Priority off; sample looks you haven’t changed are updated once.
Long-exposure noise reduction is decided when you take the photo, so it is shown but can’t be changed.
0.3.0-beta.2
Nine sample looks to start from, named in your language. The test recipes from earlier betas are removed once, unless you changed them.
Trial mode: explore the app with a simulated camera when you don’t have one with you. It can’t export.
Photos in folders the app can’t read are no longer dropped from the library.
Opening the app a second time brings the open window forward.
If the app can’t start, it says why instead of closing.
0.3.0-beta.1
AI agents, off until you turn them on: an AI app such as Claude Desktop can preview looks on your camera, write recipes, export files and add folders. Settings → AI agents connects Claude Desktop in one click and exports a Skill for Claude. See what it can do.
JPEGs developed by the camera carry the recipe’s name in their XMP metadata.
The app remembers the last folder you opened.
0.2.0-beta.1
Report a problem: send a bug report from the app, after reviewing what it contains. It is also offered after a crash.
Updates come from Yakitsuke’s own server.
0.1.1 – 0.1.5
The first beta: library, editor, side-by-side compare, recipe library, C1–C7 custom slots with backup and restore, and a batch queue that picks up where it stopped if the cable comes loose.
Battery level, star ratings mirrored to XMP sidecars, and exports grouped under their RAF.
Signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, with automatic updates.
0.1.4 added a way back from the simulated camera to a real one; 0.1.5 redesigned the interface.
